My name is Tanya Näsman and I work as a visual communicator – with my heart in the story and an eye for the details.

As a freelancer, I move between graphic design, photography, web design, and content creation – where every project is a new encounter with an idea, a person, or a message ready to take shape.

My journey didn’t start in front of a screen – but on a football field in Uganda. During my internship at El Cambio Academy, I was thrown into the role of Head of Marketing, with no prior experience but driven by curiosity. I began creating content and gradually developing the brand’s social media presence, finding ways to tell the story of the academy. In just three months, the account grew from 800 to 35,000 followers – and I discovered a passion that would shape my entire future.

Since then, I’ve continued to explore and deepen my work in visual communication. Among other things, I’ve been involved with Girl Power Organization in Denmark, contributing to workshops, creating content, and developing communication strategies to empower young girls and women with immigrant backgrounds. My nonprofit work has been just as educational as my client projects – confirming for me that design is most powerful when it’s rooted in purpose.

Today, I’m based in Sweden and work with projects where heart, values, and aesthetics come together – from grassroots organizations and cultural initiatives to small businesses and passionate changemakers. I love helping others find their visual voice, highlight their identity, and create communication that both feels right and works well.

With a background in sports, I bring structure, team spirit, and a strong drive to deliver. I believe in the power of combining strategy with emotion – and that creativity isn’t about making things messy, but making things clear.
